With many years of mothering and ECE, your child will receive the benefit of my experience and wisdom. I offer quality, safe, warm, caring and nurturing childcare.A natural  bond is created between the children and I. All of the children at Honey Bunny love to spend their day with us and look forward to each day and the experiences of the day.    My family home is where your child will be welcomed into a secure, fun and stimulating environment. My home is bright, warm and inviting where the children spend their days throughout my home and feel comfortable with a sense of belonging. Our days are spent  caring and sharing , learning about ourselves and the world around us. As you fulfill your daily routine it is comforting to know your child is in a family home where there are lots of hugs and TLC. My desire to keep our group size small enables me to spend quality one on one time with your child and develop a warm, caring relationship with them. Your child spends the entire day enjoying the activities, and learning to socialize.     Each day is flexible, play based and child directed. Throughout the day, the children can choose to participate in various stimulating activities. The activities offered vary on any given day. The activities are  sensory experiences, cooking,  puzzles, manipulatives, dancing, toddler games, large muscle activities (jumping on mats, or in and out of hula hoops), small muscle activities(using tongs to pick up items, threading cherrios on spaghetti) and music (shakers, metal salad bowl drums). The children love to sing songs and our repetoire consists of counting songs, alphabet songs, fingerplay songs, silly songs, active songs and just plain fun songs.   Classical music (optimal for developing brains) is played softly throughout the week.The children are also introduced to other genres of music . Our weeks consist of in the moment learning, language stimulation, stories, creativity,sensory activities,manipulatives, music/movement, songs /fingeplays, outdoor play, large muscle activities. Outdoor play is an integral part of our day as it offers the children a place to foster their imagination, learn about the world around them, keep them physically active, balanced and healthy.
